Shayna Foppiano Returns to Boxing Ring at Fall Brawl

Windham, NH [September 10, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that undefeated women’s lightweight Shayna Foppiano (4-01, 2 KO’s) will be back in the boxing ring on Friday, September 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire as she takes on New Orleans, Louisiana veteran Ivana Coleman in a four-round lightweight bout.

Foppiano, from Everett, Massachusetts’, will be fighting for the second time this calendar year when she meets Coleman. This past summer, Foppiano scored a first round knockout over Vanessa Grimes of Texas. She’s looking to fight more frequently following pandemic lockdowns which kept many fighters inactive.

“I’m feeling very confident and strong coming off a big win,” said Foppiano. “Training has been going really well, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to stay busy. I’m hoping for another stoppage win, but I know either way this will be another entertaining fight for the fans at the Castleton.”

Coleman is a pro boxing veteran of nearly ten years, having began her pro career in 2012 with two consecutive fights against popular New England star Shelito Vinent. She’s also shared the ring with future world champ Heather Hardy of New York and has competed in professional MMA, kickboxing and bareknuckle boxing as well. When she’s not fighting, Coleman practices tap dancing.

“I’m all brawl,” exclaimed Coleman, “so Shayna better be ready!”
