Boston Boxing Promotions fan favorite 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐙 (5-1, 1 KO) will make his welterweight debut on Friday September 20th at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts taking on veteran 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐀 as part of “Fall Brawl” 🍁

Ramirez, standing at 6’3,” has campaigned mostly as a Junior Middleweight thus far in his pro boxing career. Given his height, he will appear as one of the largest welterweights in boxing history.

For reference, former WBO Welterweight Champion Paul Williams stood at 6’1.” Current Unified Junior Middleweight Champion Sebastian Fundora stands at nearly 6’6″ while fighting at 154 pounds. The closest he ever came to the Welterweight limit while fighting domestically was 151 pounds in 2018.
