FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Melrose, MA (July 3, 2024) – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced an 8-round Super Lightweight fight for “Summer Fight Night” on Saturday July 27th at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts as Lowell’s 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 (14-1, 5 KO’s) will take on 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐢 (14-7, 4 KO’s). Molina, the reigning New England Super Lightweight Champion and 2021 Boston Boxing Promotions “Fighter of the Year”, was last seen in the ring this past April with an impressive 8-round unanimous decision over experienced veteran Damian David Marchiano (18-13-1, 7 KO’s).

Now, Molina returns to the same venue for his second ring appearance this calendar year.

“I’m glad to be back in the ring in Melrose on July 27th,” said Molina. “Lucas Alejandro Mignoni has a reputation for making weight, showing up, and actually fighting. That’s more than I can say about some people. I look forward to competing against him on the 27th.”

From Mississippi to Argentina to California, Mignoni is a well-traveled and hard-nosed fighter who fears no one. Late last year he was featured on a card in Puerto Rico promoted by the legendary Hall of Famer Miguel Cotto.

Molina-Mignoni joins a list of already announced anticipated bouts for “Summer Fight Night” including the WBC International Heavyweight Title fight between Andrii Novytskyi (11-0, 9 KO’s) and Keith Rydell Mayes Jr. (15-2, 14 KO’s), Haverhill’s Nicky Tejada (7-0-1, 5 KO’s) vs. New York’s Javier Torres, Reading’s Jarrid Digangi (2-0, 2 KO’s) vs Boston’s Bruno Saraiva, Lawrence’s Andrew Perez (3-0, 3 KO’s) vs. Max Da Silva and more!
