Harry Gigliotti Returns to the Ring at Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular

Windham, NH [September 19, 2019] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Haverhill, Massachusetts’ Harry Gigliotti (2-1, 2 KO’s) will return to the ring at the Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular on Wednesday, November 27th at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.  Gigliotti will take on the pro-debuting Robert Bricks of New York.

Gigliotti will be capping off his first year as a professional fighter. He made his debut in January with a first-round TKO over Rhode Island’s Theo Desjardin before dropping a majority decision over Kris Jacobs in May. He rebounded with a first-round KO of Vermont’s Andre Belcarris in his most recent bout in August.

“My first year as a pro has been very exciting. I feel I have learned a lot even with the loss against Jacobs which humbled me and there has only been improvement since,” said Gigliotti.  “Now, coming off a huge knockout win against Belcarris I feel great. I’m really looking to finish off the year with a 3-1 record, and I’ll do everything in my power to come out with the victory come the 27th. Bricks is an aggressive fighter with a kickboxing IQ. I’m sure he’ll be tough, but I plan to outwork him, and when he makes mistakes I’ll be there to make him pay for them.”

Robert Bricks is a combat sports journeyman with experience in boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts. He works as a cross country truck driver and uses that as an opportunity to train at different boxing and MMA gyms across the United States. He is a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and Navy.

“I work ten hours a day and train for another two to four,” said Bricks.  “I know Harry Gigliotti has some skills and is certainly not a fight I take lightly, but I plan on showing him a style of fighting he’s not used to and never seen before. I trust that God does not put any challenge before me that I am not prepared to handle. This is going to be two men putting it all on the line in front of a room full of strangers. We’ll be looking to punish each other physically as that is the nature of the sport. However, I know I will put the work in and put on a show.”
