Larson & Clark on Course for Welterweight Collision

Melrose, MA (July 12, 2022) – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a six-round welterweight fight between Salem, Massachusetts’ Kenny Larson (4-0, 4 KO’s) and Berwick, Maine’s Ryan Clark (2-1, 1 KO) to take place on Saturday, August 13th at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Doors are scheduled to open at 5 pm on August 13th with first fight taking place at 6 pm. Tickets for the event are on sale now at

Larson, who will be entering his first scheduled six-round bout against Clark, was forced to go the deepest he’s ever gone as a pro in his last Boston Boxing Promotions show appearance back in April.  He scored a fourth round TKO over Jay Gregory. Earlier in the year he scored a highlight reel first round KO over New York’s Laquan Lewis.

“I’ll be ready,” said Larson.  “I’ll do my job, and I know he’s going to do his job. May the best man win.”

Ryan Clark is coming off a pair of fights against the highly touted Kris Jacobs (5-2-1, 2 KO’s) in which he went 1-1. This hard-nosed Maine resident is expected to be Larson’s toughest test to date as a pro fighter.

“I’m expecting a tough fight as I know Kenny is talented, durable and bringing his A-game,” said Clark.
