Milton, NH Police Officer to Make Pro Debut on July 30th Great American Boxing Bash Card
Windham, NH [June 16, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Barrington, New Hampshire native Ryan Clark will be making his professional boxing debut in a four-round junior middleweight fight against New York, New York’s Robert Bricks on Friday, July 30th at the Castleton in Windham, New Hampshire as part of Night 2 of “The Great American Boxing Bash.”
Clark, who works a regular job as a police officer in Milton, New Hampshire, is a former Central New England Golden Gloves finalist as an amateur. He is a married father of two daughters with a third child on the way. He trains at Jass Boxing in Berwick, Maine.
“Making my pro debut is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to give the hard working folks who attend Boston Boxing Promotions shows there moneys worth,” said Clark. “I know Bricks has balls the size of grapefruits, and I certainly respect him, so I won’t take him lightly.”
Clark will have his hands full with his battle tested opponent Robert Bricks, who in 2020 participated in an all out slugfest against Greg Bono that was named Boston Boxing Promotions “Fight of the Year.” He was recently described on the popular cult boxing podcast hosted by Tim Boxeo as a man who “probably eats nuts and screws for breakfast” in reference to his toughness and tenacity.
“With very little amateur experience, I rushed into the professional ranks of boxing headstrong to test my skills against whomever is put in front of me,” said Bricks, a veteran of the United States Marines. “I certainly respect Ryan Clark as a man and as a competitor, but I intend to fight him like we got a problem… because that’s what I am to anyone put before me in a boxing ring, and that’s what I’m paid to do.”
