Nineve & Almeida on Collision Course in Billerica

Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Plainville’s Alex Nineve (5-0, 5 KO’s) will return to the ring just over a month from a highlight reel 1st round KO win that’s a leading candidate for “Knockout of the Year” as he will take on Woburn’s Rodrigo Almeida (17-13, 3 KO’s Combined Combat Sports Record) who is by far the most battle-tested and experienced opponent he has taken on to date.

Nineve is in his sophomore year as a pro fighter having turned pro in March of 2025. His brother Dan “Psycho Killer” Nineve is a regional amateur mixed-martial-arts champion, his father Bill Nineve is a former MMA fighter as well, and his mother Stefanie Nineve is a black belt in Krav Maga.

Almeida is a veteran combat sports athlete who has competed on NBC Sports national television amongst other platforms. He is a staple in the New England boxing and MMA scenes.
