Shayna Foppiano Seeks Redemption on January 27
Windham, NH (December 26, 2022) – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Everett, Massachusetts’ Shayna Foppiano (5-0-1, 2 KO’s) will seek redemption for the only blemish on her record as she takes on Orlando, Florida’s Sarah Click in a six-round Super Lightweight rematch on Friday January 27 at the Castleton in Windham, New Hampshire.
The first time these two fighters met the bout was ruled a draw in 2018. That encounter was a four-round fight, Now, they’ll have an additional 2 rounds to settle the score.
“I’m looking forward to the rematch against Sarah Click,” said Foppiano. “I know that I’m a much different fighter than I was the first time I fought her. She is a tough opponent, but so am I and this time I’m confident that the result will go in my favor.”
Since their first bout, Foppiano has gone 4-0, with 1 KO inside the squared circle. Most recently, she earned a four-round unanimous decision over Las Vegas’ LeAnn O’Mally on Thanksgiving Eve in Windham.
Sarah Click has mostly competed in Mixed Martial Arts since her first fight with Foppiano with the occasional bare knuckle boxing match thrown in for good measure. In MMA, she’s emerged victorious in well-respected organizations such as Bellator and has competed in Invicta and LFA – two of the most prestigious MMA promotions for women’s combat sports in the world.
