Women’s Fight Added to Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular in Windham, NH

Windham, NH [September 3, 2019] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Kimberly “The Machine” Wabik of Revere, Massachusetts will take on Ocean City, New Jersey’s Jacqueline Boyle in a four-round super featherweight bout as part of the Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular on Wednesday November 27th at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

Wabik, who turned pro last November, has won two consecutive fights in a row after beginning her career 0-0-2. While in her first two pro fights she fought on such even terms with her opponents that the fights were ruled draws, Wabik has won eight straight rounds of boxing across all three judges’ scorecards in her two most recent fights against Ohio’s Crystal Byers and fellow Massachusetts’ fighter Fernanda Araujo to win two consecutive shutout unanimous decisions.

“I’m looking forward to returning to Windham. Jacqueline Boyle presents an interesting challenge as she’s very athletic but I’m up for it and expect a great fight,” said Wabik.

Jacqueline Boyle is a former New England Golden Gloves and two-time Western New England Golden Gloves Champion as an amateur. She trains with Colin Albert and former New England Welterweight title challenger Shakha Moore in Stamford, Connecticut. She was also a level 10 accomplished gymnast growing up.

“I’m really excited about making my pro debut,” said Boyle. “Kimberly has more experience as a pro, but I believe I have the skills to win. I’m focused, and my coach always tells me I’m the hardest working athlete he’s ever worked with, so I will be ready.”
