WOMEN’S FIGHT ANNOUNCED FOR MARCH 29 IN FALL RIVER

Boston Boxing Promotions has announced an 8 round women’s featherweight fight between Brooklyn, New York’s Chiara Dituri (9-2, 3 KO’s) and Brazil’s Kalindra Faria (21-13-1 combined combat sports record) as part of “Fall River Fight Night” on Saturday March 29th at the CYO Building in Fall River, Massachusetts. Dituri is a well-traveled fighter having competed in 3 different countries and 5 different U.S. states in her 11-fight pro career thus far. Just last year in Atlantic City she picked up a career best win by defeating Mexico’s Perla Lomeli (Current Record 6-4).

Faria is best known to New England fight fans for scoring an upset decision over former national golden gloves finalist Jenn Perella on Thanksgiving Eve late last year. Not simply confined to the boxing ring, she is an accomplished kickboxer, grappler and Mixed Martial Artist. She is a veteran of the UFC and a former Brazilian strawweight MMA champion.
