Boston Boxing Promotions fan favorite Josh Popper (3-0, 3 KO’s) will return on Friday May 23rd at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts to take on the toughest test of his young career thus far as he meets Utah’s Oswaldo Ortega in a 4 round heavyweight fight.

Popper has made quick work of his first few foes as a pro earning 3 consecutive KO victories in as many fights since turning pro last year including opening round stoppages of Felipe Soares De Silva in Andover in November and Pedro Lane Carvalho de Oliveira last month in Fall River.

In Oswaldo Ortega, Popper will have his work cut out for him as he meets a fighter who has defeated 3 previously undefeated fighters in his career thus far and gone the distance with many more.
