Balakin Will Look for Third Pro Win at Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular

Windham, NH [October 18, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a welterweight fight between popular Tyngsboro, Massachusetts’ welterweight Nathan Balakin (2-0) and Philadelphia veteran Demetris Williams for Thanksgiving Eve, November 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

Balakin, who made his professional debut this past summer, is off to a 2-0 start in his pro career. Impressively, he has not lost a single round on any judges’ scorecard yet as a pro, earning unanimous decision victories against Brazil’s Jader Alves De Oliveira and Indiana’s Ubaldo Lara respectively in his first two pro bouts.

“I’m excited to get back in there with a tough opponent from a great fighting city like Philadelphia,” said Balakin. “I’m going to come out with high volume and break him down. I plan on closing out the year with a statement win and carrying the momentum into the new year.”

Williams is a hard-nosed journeyman from Philadelphia who has competed at the Castleton before – notably in a highly entertaining and competitive decision loss to Brandon Higgins in 2019.
