Cruiserweight Bout Announced for Boxing Event on June 5 in Windham, NH

Windham, NH [March 9, 2020] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced its first fight for “Primetime Boxing” on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire as Fall River, Massachusetts’ Aaron Bernardo will meet Wilmington, Vermont’s Gary Cameron in a four-round cruiserweight bout.  Each fighter will be making their respective pro debut.

“It’s a lifelong dream to make my pro debut,” said Aaron Bernardo. “Now, it becomes a reality on June 5th in Windham, New Hampshire. I’m going to box smart, and as soon as I see an opening for the knockout, I’m going to take it.”

Bernardo is a boxing coach with Punishment Striking Systems and is trained by Michael Bryant. He accrued a 5-3 record as an amateur and was a staple at ICON amateur boxing events where he held the ICON lineal heavyweight title.

Gary Cameron is a professional mixed martial artist and Muay Thai kickboxer who will be making his pro boxing debut on June 5th. He has challenged for regional championships on the northeast MMA circuit. 

“I have explosive power in both my hands,” said Cameron. “I plan to push the pace and push his cardio to the max. I predict a third or fourth round knockout.”
