Fan-Favorites Langlais & Perkins Promise an All-Action Fight in Windham, NH

Windham, NH [February 28, 2022] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a six-round catchweight fight between Acushnet, Massachusetts’ Stephen “Clubber” Langlais (4-1, 3 KO’s) and Lynn’s James Perkins (6-0-1, 5 KO’s) to take place on Friday April 22, 2022, at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire. The fight will take place at a weight limit of 172 pounds.

Langlais, fresh off a second-round KO over New York’s Scott Lampert this past weekend in Framingham, Massachusetts, is riding a three-fight win streak into this bout, including a 2021 honorable mention for “Fight of the Year” for his majority decision win over Rico DePaolis.

Perkins has reeled off six wins in a row since fighting to a draw in his pro debut in 2019. He most recently scored an opening round TKO over Rodrigo Darocha this past January in Windham.

“Perkins should be one of my toughest fights to date,” said Langlais. “I could see either one of us clipping the other and ending it early or banging it out for a full six rounds.”

James Perkins concurs with Langlais’ prediction of an all-action fight.

“I think the atmosphere will be intense and there will be added excitement since we both have solid fanbases,” said Perkins. “Langlais has a good record and is a good fighter, but I still plan on knocking him out.”

Langlais trains with Aaron Bernardo at Punishment Striking Systems in Swansea, MA. Perkins trains with Joe Ricciardi and Dennis Willcox at Broadway Boxing in Everett alongside former world title challenger Greg Vendetti (23-4-1, 12 KO’s).

Both local fan favorites, the two fighters have competed a combined total of seven times in Windham, New Hampshire.

Boxing Superstars takes place at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, NH on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale now at www.BostonBoxingPromotions.com/Tickets/.
