Former National Amateur Champion to Make Pro Debut at Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular

Windham, NH [November 16, 2021] – Former national amateur champion Anthony Viera will be making his long-awaited professional debut at the Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular on Wednesday, November 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.


Viera, a resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, will be making his debut at heavyweight before he is expected to move down in weight for future fights. He is trained by former standout welterweight Ray Oliveira, Sr., noteworthy in boxing circles for holding the CompuBox records for most punches thrown in a single round and single fight, and Scott Sullivan, a former lightweight fighter who has recently worked with rising lightweight star Ryan Garcia.


“I train hard for the fight and expect to be victorious. The crowd will be entertained,” said Viera.


His opponent will be announced at a later date.
