Larson and Gregory on Collision Course at Boxing Superstars

Windham, NH [March 4, 2022] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a four-round welterweight fight between Salem, Massachusetts’ Kenny Larson (2-0, 2 KO’s) and New York’s Jay Gregory to take place Friday April 22, 2022, at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

Larson was last seen in a Boston Boxing Promotions ring scoring an early candidate for “Knockout of the Year” over New York’s Laquan Lewis this past January. Gregory in his last time out at a Boston Boxing Promotions event held the much more experienced Agustin Cicero to a draw in an all-action affair that received an honorable mention for 2021 “Fight of the Year.”

“I’m Kenny Larson and I only know how to fight like Kenny Larson,” Larson said. “Pressure, intensity, action – that’s how I fight each and every time out and the fans seem to like it. I won’t predict what will happen between me and Jay Gregory except that it will be a hell of a fight and I can’t see the fans not loving it.”

Gregory is a naturally larger man than Larson. Most of his fights have been at the junior middleweight limit of 154 pounds, including two bouts in Windham with Kyle Cusick – the first of which Gregory scored a hard knockdown in the opening round nearly stopping Cusick before losing a narrow decision.

“Kenny Larson is smaller than me and shorter than me, so I’ll just use my height and reach to keep him from getting inside,” said Gregory. “I’m expecting a good fight and I look forward to being back in Windham, New Hampshire.”

Boxing Superstars takes place at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, NH on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale now at www.BostonBoxingPromotions.com/Tickets/.
