Larson and Lewis to Battle in Windham, NH

Windham, NH [December 15, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a four-round welterweight fight for Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire. Salem, Massachusetts’ Kenny Larson (1-0, 1 KO) is scheduled to take on fan favorite Laquan “Lightning” Lewis of New York, New York (7-12-1, 4 KO’s).

Larson, who trains at the Broadway Boxing Gym in Everett under the guidance of Joe Ricciardi and Dennis Willcox, turned pro last month with a quick TKO over Michigan’s Seigenald Daley. In Lewis, he’ll be stepping up significantly taking on a 20 fight veteran who is 5-0-1, with two KO’s in his last six fights.

“I’m excited to get back in the ring so quickly,” said Larson. “I’m in great shape and I’ll let my fists do the talking in the ring.”

Lewis, despite hailing from New York City, has fought nine times in Windham, New Hampshire. His charisma, which has included entering the ring dressed as a luchador and coming out to Hulk Hogan’s theme music, along with his resolve inside the ropes has earned him a cult following in Southern New Hampshire. In his most recent fight, he scored two knockdowns en route to a second round TKO over Mike Taylor at The Castleton in July.

“I don’t know much about Kenny Larson, but I know he has had some really good coaches around him throughout his run in the amateurs and into the pros. However, I feel my skills and experience will carry me to victory. I’m on the Kings of the Castleton for a reason,” said Lewis.
