Leesh Pike Makes Her Castleton Boxing Debut on April 21
Windham, NH (February 22, 2023) – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a four-round super bantamweight fight between Salisbury, Massachusetts’ Leesh Pike (1-0-1) and Philadelphia’s Sandy “Bang Bang” Chheng (Pro Debut) on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the Castleton in Windham, New Hampshire. Tickets are on sale now at www.BoxingNH.com.
Pike, a former New England Golden Gloves Champion as an amateur, turned pro earlier this year with a unanimous decision win over battle tested veteran Karen Dulin. This bout against Chheng will mark Pike’s Castleton debut – the most active boxing venue in New England over the past five years.
“I’m laser focused and ready to have a clean, tough and exciting fight with Sandy,” said Pike. “I’m excited to make my debut at the Castleton. It’s close to my hometown of Salisbury so I’m looking forward to packing the house with my amazing supporters.”
Chheng, from the fighting city of Philadelphia, is a combat sports athlete who has also competed in Mixed Martial Arts and grappling. She is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and a combat engineer for the United States Army.
“I’m excited to make my pro boxing debut. It’s a good challenge for me, especially as a fighter who’s competed under MMA and Muay Thai rule sets, where factors such as kicks & takedowns play a huge role in strategy,” said Chheng. “This fight camp is giving me the opportunity to channel my inner Rocky and focus solely on the discipline of boxing.”
