Marino to Meet Jacques at Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular

Windham, NH [October 14, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that North Attleboro’s BJ Marino (1-0, 1 KO) will be back in the ring on Thanksgiving Eve, November 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire as he takes on Vermont’s Ty Jacques in a four-round super middleweight fight.

Both men made their respective pro debuts this past September in Windham with Marino scoring a first round technical knockout over New York’s Mike Taylor and Jacques participating in arguably the fight of the night in a competitive losing effort against New Jersey’s Malik Jackson.

“My pro debut went as planned and as expected, but I didn’t get much of a chance to show my skill and talent,” said Marino. “But this next fight against Jacques is a step up in competition in which I’ll be able to showcase those two things. We’ll touch gloves at the center of the ring at the beginning and then as soon as that bell rings, it’s gonna be one hell of a show for the fans.”

Both Marino and Jacques transitioned to boxing after accomplished Mixed Martial Arts careers. Marino’s MMA record stands at 6-1, with 3 KO’s and Jacques MMA record is a battle tested 9-8, with 7 KO’s.

Ty Jacques declined to comment for this press release.
