Cusick Fight Promises Another Thanksgiving Eve Thriller
| Windham, NH [October 13, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Fall River, Massachusetts’ Kyle Cusick (3-1, 1 KO) will be back in the ring on Thanksgiving Eve, November 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire as he takes on Atlanta, Georgia’s Eddie Gates in a four-round middleweight fight. Cusick will be returning to the Castleton one year following his first pro win last November when he defeated New York’s Jay Gregory in a thrilling four-round war that saw Cusick get off the canvas to earn a unanimous decision. Most recently, Cusick earned a third round technical knockout over Brazil’s Paulo De Souza this past summer. “If we’re being honest, I’m a bit undersized for the middleweight division, but I’m looking forward to stepping up to the challenge against a tough veteran fighter. I can’t wait to get out there in front of a packed Fall River crowd and leave it all in there,” said Cusick. Eddie Gates is a veteran competitor who has been in with a myriad of prospects and contenders in his 11-year career. A switch hitter who sometimes fights as a southpaw, Gates is expected to present an unfriendly challenge to Cusick in his proper middleweight debut.
