Walsh Looks to Remain Undefeated at Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular
Windham, NH [October 12, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Brockton, Massachusetts’ undefeated lightweight Kevin Walsh (3-0, 3 KO’s) will be back in the ring on Thanksgiving Eve, November 24th at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire as he takes on Anchorage, Alaska’s William Parra Smith in a four-round fight as part of the “4th Annual Thanksgiving Eve Boxing Spectacular.”
Walsh, who made his pro debut in May of this year, has racked up three consecutive first round knockouts to begin his pro career with stoppage wins over New Bedford’s Henry Garcia, New York’s Mike Thomas, and Puerto Rico’s Celiel Castillo. In Smith, Walsh will be taking on the most stern test of his young boxing career. Never afraid of a challenge, Smith has fought opposition with a combined record of 20-1-1 thus far in the calendar year 2021. In 2020, he turned heads in the boxing community with a highly competitive six-round war with the undefeated Tyler Tomlin, (now 12-0 with 8 KO’s), and is expected to take Walsh into deeper waters than he has ever been as a pro.
“With this being my most experienced opponent I am expecting a little more of a challenge,” said Walsh. “This will be a good test for me. With that being said, every fight is my biggest fight. I’m on a mission, and I won’t let anything stop me from getting there. It’s war come November 24th.”
