MENDEZ AND DIBARTOLOMEO ARE READY FOR ACTION AT WINDHAM BOXING EVENT

Windham, NH – [December 27, 2018] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a four-round welterweight fight between Norwalk, Connecticut’s undefeated Wilner Mendez (2-0, 2 KO’s) and Leominster, Massachusetts’ Ryan Dibartolomeo to take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 as part of “Friday Night Fights” at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

Mendez, born in Chiapa, Mexico, made his pro debut in 2018, competing in North Carolina twice. He trains under the guidance of veteran light heavyweight Ahmad Mickens at Revolution Fitness in Stamford, Connecticut.

“I’m a warrior and in the spirit of the great Mexican fighters I look up to, I’ll be fighting Ryan toe to toe just like I fight everyone,” said Mendez.  “I know a lot of fighters want to take the ‘0’ away from my perfect record, but I’m a professional and I’ll be prepared for whatever is thrown at me.”

Ryan Dibartolomeo is a veteran pro fighter with cage-fighting experience who currently works as the General Manager at the Title Boxing Club in Nashua.

“I’ve been training very hard, focusing strictly on boxing,” said Dibartolomeo.  “I know I’m walking into his world stepping into the ring, but he better believe I’m coming to fight and I’m coming to take a win away from him.”
