Windham, NH – [December 21, 2018] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced a four-round welterweight fight between Springfield, Massachusetts’ undefeated Anthony Velazquez (4-0, 4 KO’s) and Pennsylvania’s upset specialist Bryan Goldsby to take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 as part of “Friday Night Fights” at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

Velazquez will be competing for the fifth time within a year since making his pro debut last January in Windham with a first round KO over Vermont’s Andre Belcarris. In his most recent outing, he scored a third round TKO over Philadelphia’s Demetris Williams, passing the toughest test of his young career. In his two fights at the Castleton, the Western Massachusetts native has proven to be quite the fan favorite with the Windham crowd.

“I’m coming to work on January 25th,” said Velazquez. “I’m also coming to win so I can continue to bring my career to the next level.”

Bryan Goldsby will represent another step up in level of opposition for Velazquez. Goldsby started as an MMA fighter before transitioning to traditional boxing and earned himself victories in Bellator’s bantamweight tournament. Most recently, he earned an unanimous decision win over Maine’s Brandon Berry in a major upset a few weeks ago inside the boxing ring.
