NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL STARS ADDED TO ALREADY-STACKED WINDHAM BOXING CARD

Windham, NH  [April 20, 2018] – Windham, NH   – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced additional talent to be in action on Saturday, April 28th at the Castleton Banquet and Conference Center in Windham.

Former world title challenger Ashley Theophane (41-8-1, 12 KO’s) of London, England and rugged heavyweight journeyman Jason Bergman (26-15-2, 17 KO’s) of Pittsburgh will be competing in separate fights.

Theophane, who currently trains in Las Vegas, is promoted by recently retired five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather whom he regularly trains and spars with. With 41 wins to his credit, Theophane has more victories than any active British boxer. In 2016, he fought Adrien Broner for the WBA junior welterweight world championship. He is looking to get back in the mix for a world title shot later this year.

Bergman has fought a who’s who of elite heavyweights in his 43 professional fights thus far. In 2014, he scored a TKO win over former Olympic team captain Devin Vargas, and in 2013, he knocked out the undefeated John L. Smith, a trainee of former heavyweight champ Buster Douglas, inside one round. He has also fought former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker in an all-out war just two years ago.

Springfield, Massachusetts native Luis “Pancho” Santiago will also make his return to the ring after a layoff of more than a year. Last April he fought to an exciting draw in his pro debut against Alex Montes of Lawrence, MA.

All these exciting fighters in action in addition to the previously announced Tommy O’Connell (1-0) vs. Bruce Boyington (1-0) four-round welterweight fight, Julio Perez Campusano (1-0, 1 KO) vs. Eric Abraham (2-2) four-round light heavyweight bout, and much more.
