The Return of Amanda Pavone Confirmed for the Great American Boxing Bash

Windham, NH [July 9, 2021] – Boston Boxing Promotions has announced that Burlington, Massachusetts native Amanda Pavone (8-0, 3 KO’s) will return to the ring for the first time in over two years as she takes on New York City’s Jaika Pavilus in a four-round bantamweight matchup. The fight will take place on Night 3 of the Great American Boxing Bash scheduled for August 6, 2021, at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, New Hampshire.

“I can’t wait to knock the rust off after two years and do it in front of a packed house of fans,” exclaimed Pavone.

Pavone, who won the New England Super Bantamweight Championship in 2019, will remain more active in the ring moving forward.

However, first she must get past the tough Jaika Pavilus who has never been stopped and is coming off a fight last month promoted by Oscar De La Hoya. Not afraid to travel, last year Pavilus earned a victory in Sonora, Mexico.

“My thoughts on the fight is I know Amanda is gonna come forward and gonna be tough, but it’s my job to make her fight my fight instead of fighting her fight. I can’t predict the future but let’s just say it’s gonna be a great f****** fight,” said Pavilus.
