Briam Granado to Headline Historic New Bedford Boxing Card

Boxing November 12 New Bedford event tickets

New Bedford, Massachusetts [September 29, 2016] – Briam “Bam Bam” Granado (1-1-1, 1 KO) has signed to appear in the main event of the professional boxing card at New Bedford High School on Saturday, November 12.  It will be the first time since 1995 a professional boxing event has taken place in the Whaling City.

“I’m looking forward to fighting in my hometown of New Bedford for the first time as a professional,” said Granado.  “I know I’ll have a lot of fan support and I cannot wait for the opportunity.”

Granado, who won his pro debut last year via first round knockout at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, will compete in a bout scheduled for six rounds on November 12 against an opponent to be named in the very near future.

Granado is not only a resident of New Bedford but also a business owner in town.  He is the proprietor of his own gym, All Out Fitness, located at 127 Rodney French Blvd.

As the patriarch of a young family and a small business owner, Granado knows just how important it is to bring back pro boxing to an old fight town like New Bedford.  He has promised his many local fans a show that they will not soon forget.

“When there’s a will, there’s a way, and I’ll show all my fans in town what I’m made of November 12th with a good performance.”
